Nesta
Privacy Policy
Last updated: 17 September 2026
Nesta respects your privacy. We collect only what we need to run the Services — a 100-day recovery journey, daily tasks, journal, Premium billing, and product measurement — and we do not sell your personal data.
This policy covers the Nesta iOS app. Related legal pages are hosted at nuraly.app/nestaprivacy. By using Nesta, you agree to this policy. The English version is the official version.
1. Information we process
Depending on how you use Nesta, we may process:
- On your device. Onboarding answers, mood check-ins, journal entries, photos you attach to tasks, 100-day journey progress, and preferences stored locally on your iPhone. Using Delete my data in the app, or uninstalling Nesta, removes this information from the device. We do not upload your journal text, check-ins, or photos to our servers.
- Device and diagnostics. Device type, iOS version, language, app version, crash logs, and similar technical data used to keep the app running and to investigate failures.
- Product usage. Feature-usage events such as completing onboarding, viewing Today, finishing a daily task, opening the paywall, or starting a subscription. These events describe which screens you used. They do not include journal text or check-in answers.
- Identifiers. A Firebase installation identifier, and — only if you allow tracking on iOS — Apple’s Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA). We also send Apple Search Ads attribution tokens so we can see which Apple Ads campaign or keyword led to an install or purchase.
- Payments. Card and wallet details are handled by Apple. Nesta does not store full payment card numbers. RevenueCat receives subscription status, product identifiers, and Apple transaction identifiers so Premium can unlock.
- Support messages. If you email hello@nuraly.app, we receive the address and content you send so we can help you.
Nesta does not use your location, does not show in-app ads, and does not sell your personal data.
2. How we use information
- Provide the 100-day journey, daily tasks, journal, progress, and in-app safety resources you request.
- Unlock and maintain Nesta Premium (weekly or annual) through Apple and RevenueCat.
- Remember your preferences and progress on the same device.
- Measure which parts of onboarding, the journey, and the paywall help people start and stay — so we can improve Nesta.
- Attribute App Store installs and purchases to Apple Search Ads campaigns and keywords.
- Detect crashes, fix bugs, and keep the Services secure.
- Respond to support and billing questions.
3. Analytics, crash reports, and tracking
Nesta uses Google Firebase (Analytics and Crashlytics) and RevenueCat. Usage events and crash reports leave your iPhone and are processed by those providers. Journal entries, check-ins, and photos do not.
During onboarding we may ask for Apple’s App Tracking Transparency permission. If you allow it, we may use IDFA with Google Analytics to measure which screens help people come back, and to connect Apple Ads activity with later purchases. If you tap Ask App Not to Track, we still collect Standard Apple Search Ads attribution (campaign and keyword, without IDFA) and first-party Firebase events that do not rely on the advertising identifier.
This is measurement for our own product and Apple Ads, not a marketplace of user profiles. We do not sell your data and we do not show third-party ads inside Nesta.
5. How long we keep data
Device-stored journal, check-ins, photos, and journey progress remain until you delete them in the app or uninstall. Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics retain events and crash reports according to Google’s product settings (typically up to 14 months for Analytics, longer for crash snapshots we need to fix a bug). Billing records are kept by Apple and RevenueCat for as long as they need for tax, accounting, and legal purposes. Support emails are kept only as long as needed to resolve your request.
6. Your choices and rights
- Allow or deny tracking in the iOS prompt, or later in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
- Use Delete my data in Nesta to erase local recovery data on this iPhone. That does not cancel Premium or erase Apple, RevenueCat, or Firebase records already sent.
- Uninstall the app to remove remaining local data.
- Cancel auto-renewing Premium in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
- Email us to ask what we hold or to request deletion of support correspondence, to the extent we control it.
Depending on where you live (for example the EEA, UK, or similar jurisdictions), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of personal data, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Local journal data is processed to provide the service you asked for. Analytics and crash reporting are processed as legitimate interests in operating and improving Nesta. Use of IDFA for tracking is based on your ATT consent. Contact hello@nuraly.app.
7. Children
Nesta is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country). The app is meant for adults rebuilding life after a relationship ends. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it where we can.
8. Security and international transfers
Journey content stays on your iPhone. Usage events, crash reports, billing metadata, and these legal pages are transmitted with HTTPS. No method of transmission is completely secure. Apple, RevenueCat, Google, and hosting providers may process limited data in the United States, the United Kingdom, the European Economic Area, or other countries with appropriate safeguards.
9. Changes
We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date at the top will change. Continued use of Nesta after an update means you accept the revised policy.
